Isle of Wight
With nearly 60 miles of stunning coastline, many sandy beaches and a warmer than average climate for the UK, plenty of visitor attractions, and a large part of the island designated an area of outstanding natural beauty, its no wonder the Isle of Wight has been a favourite holiday destination since Victorian times.
The Isle of Wight is situated 3 miles off the UKs South Coast in the English Channel, the waterway between is known as the Solent, its host to the annual world famous Cowes Week sailing regatta, loved by water sports enthusiasts and commercially one of the busiest zones in the UK!
As well as great beaches the Isle of Wight has something for everyone from great events such as the legendary Isle of Wight Festival, adrenalin sports including Kite Surfing and Paragliding, 500 miles of footpaths and bridal ways for Walkers and cyclists and a visitor attraction for every taste. For animal lovers there is the Amazon World Zoo Park and its tropical birds and animals in its rainforest attraction, for family fun check out one of the many pleasure parks such as the Robin Hill Adventure Park and its tree top trail. If Museums and Houses are more you thing then there is plenty to see including Osborne House the large house and grounds of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.
